Swift will not hire me because I live in NV

What they are saying to you is that since you live in LV, they can't put you in their academy...housing issue I believe, the roster is full up and not taking anymore "out of towners".

They did actually say they would hire you (better the truth be told here and now) actually they "could" hire you after you get your license! After they pre-screen you, drug screen you, pee screen you, employment background screen you, and verify screening in order to hire you!

If you go yo AIT in Las Vegas Swift hires from that school... When I visited the school a while back the tractors that were being used had Swift logo on them and the recruiter from the school said that is the company most graduates go to.

I guess your stuck with hauling class A explosives or high/wide and heavy.

 

The Swift PHX academy is only taking people from AZ and CA right now I heard. Not sure how long it's been that way or if it will remain.

 

They can not put you in SCHOOL because you live in NV.

Thats because of the radius that they can take people from.

I could not go to their school from CO, but I have a pre-hire that I will get a job with them when I complete school, I have 2 weeks left.

This is true,I don't do it for the money right now,but I will be soon. I have been in this to "learn the job,know the job,and like the job" then I will worry about the money!

 

Go to a local school. Then try getting on Watkins Shepard. I believe they hire in your area. More options exist by going that route.
