I know all required to do so but one thing. Do you haft to have a Surety Bond I know its required for ICC Brokers. If not Federaly required does Brokers such as CH Robertson require it.

In the normal course of business as an owner/operator in the general freight arena, no...you will not need a surety bond, but if you were to enter into a contract with the Government, or where the freight hauled is extremely high in value, that may be a requirement that a shipper or broker will have.

Keep a good cargo insurance policy in place with a deductible that you can well afford, and that will cover just about everything, and always....ALWAYS be aware of the value of the freight you are hauling. Don't exceed that value limit of your cargo insurance...ever.
