anyone know about pgt trucking?

This is a very new company,I just found them yesterday on the web.I have been researching companies for weeks,and I have no info.For what it's worth.

 

My buddy is the Safety Manager over there at PGT. Very good track record for safety. I have seen quite a few of their trucks. Some are leased, others are not. I haven't heard anything negative about them.

If you are looking for anything in particular I can get you info.

 

100 safety rating? Can't get any worse than that, I thought.

this fine settlement, among other deficiencies...this company looks like a joke.....

357 moving violations....??? out of nearly 900 drivers....?????

oh well........gotta start some place....maybe Swift....????

 

A 91 safestat rating and you say they have a very good track record. Ya, a very good track record of running ilegal and getting nailed!

Tell your buddy to quit sitting at the mill in West Mifflin, making sure that the drivers chain right and start checking them out on the road and look at thier logbooks.

 

Buckeye you posted a few days ago the same link on the PGT or TMC thread and said they had a bad safety rating You ever work for them?

No. They have a Canton, OH terminal, so I was looking into them. Then I noticed their safety rating. Whoa!

 

I'm going to give them a shot and see what goes on I leave Nov 7th, wish me luck lol... I hope I made the right choice
