I don't believe they are using CDRP anymore. In 2003 I spent 6 months and made a 720 mile round trip to get fingerprinted and photographed. Finally got it and the first time I showed it at the border they laughed and said we're not using these anymore.
An application to Fastpass would tell you if you are going to have problems.
How can I find out if I can cross the canadian border?

If I get the chance tomorrow, I will call the consulate in Dallas. -

I've never been to Canada & never really had a reason to go, so I never attempted. I'm talking about with the truck. Currently it is registered for Canada thru the fleet I'm leased to.
I may have an opportunity to become a little more specialized.... But I will have to make runs into Canada. I was wondering if they had a website database for the naughty people.... That way I could look to see if my name is on it. -
Safe bet that your name is on the naughty list... heck I should take bets... got a 401 just around the corner...

Redd you will need either a fast card or a valid passport--and actually that is to get back in the US----i feel sorry for US drivers as it seems harder for them to get back home than it is for canadian drivers to get it--(think it has to do with proving you are a us citizen)
you can apply for a fast card online----and you have to have a pretty clean background for that, dui"s are frowned on for getting into canada
i think you can also get a waiver as well
and i just bet you want to get those juicy mercer loads going from texas up in to alberta right? -
Just pick a province and put in a name.
