Wow! I think this is the funniest thread on here since reading about the werner driver crapping his drawers.

I think I know what truck your talking about. It had 18 wheels too didn't it? And a trailer behind it? I think it even had rubber tires.

it could be that the truck was taking up half of the turning lane and the other one so he could make the swing and she came in beside him and the curb, but he still should of seen her

This has turned into a funny thread. The Werner one was definitely hilarious. The original starter of this thread seems to have disappeared. I think everyone has made an assumption of what might have happened. There is a good possibility that a truck was not even involved. We may never know!

Exactly how is my story changing? My story hasn't changed at all. I may have told you more of the story, but nothing changed. MY DAUGHTER WAS SITTING STILL AT A RED LIGHT. Her light was NOT green. It was red. She needs a defensive driving course now?? How is she at fault?? Not many people on here seem to be helping. A lot of people are trying to blame her when she didn't do anything wrong. She is a very safe driver. People have gone as far as to say she is a drunk and she doesn't even drink. I know some truckdrivers personally...so I guess they're not all the same...but a lot of the ones on this site are certainly not being helpful at all. They are blaming her when she wasn't at fault. Why can't all of you just accept the fact that she wasn't at fault? That seems to be a problem for a lot of you. I do have pictures. I'm just not on this site 24/7 and haven't had the time to post them yet...but I will post them. Then, you all can see for yourself that it WAS a truckdriver who did the damage to her car. What more do you guys want? There were pieces of the trailer tire in the parts of her car that were damaged. Do you want me to take a closeup of that, too?? I mean really, this is all getting ridiculous. I'm not going to get on this site and say she was at fault when she wasn't, so if that is what you're talking about by p***ing everybody off...oh well. She wasn't at fault and that's the bottom line!!

You say you're not placing blame on anyone, but if you read your post...you're putting a lot of the blame on her. Yes, she was behind the solid white line. She is a safe driver. She called her mother when it happened...all shaken up over the idiot that hit her and kept going. She DID NOT come up with a wild story by the time she got home. She said exactly what happened right when it happened. She started to follow the truck...but something was dragging on the ground, so she stopped because she didn't know what it was and she didn't want to further damage the car. She then got out and saw that it was the bumper (cover..I'm assuming you all are understanding that part, but maybe not) and it was hanging on by a thread...so she pulled it the rest of the way off and put it in the trunk so she could drive the vehicle. By then, he was long gone. She was never in an accident before in her almost 7 years of driving. She was shaken up...especially about the fact that he kept going. When I said same direction, I'm talking about the fact that they were heading forward on the same side of the road...you know, like north or south...so you all understood this wasn't a 2 lane road. Why is this story so hard to believe? It happened and HE was at fault. What if she was hurt badly or killed?? Would you all still be blaming her?? This is getting ridiculous and then someone said I'm defensive. No wonder...most people on here make up their own stories as to what happened. She was the one involved in the accident. She knows what happened and she's not a liar AT ALL! HE WAS AT FAULT! As for the road, it's Highland Park Blvd. A lot of people in the area call it Highland Blvd. Since you obviously aren't familiar with the area..you must not know that...so please don't make accusations! We are fixing the car ourselves. I'm not asking for sympathy. I was just asking for some help from anyone who may have had any information...plus I thought maybe there was a chance that the idiot who did this may have seen my post. You just never know. Also, someone could have seen it happen and knew what company the guy drove for. Obviously, no one did. I'm just getting a bunch of negative feedback from a bunch of truckers who weren't anywhere near there.

I don't have any info except for the fact that the truck was white and I have the first 3 letters of the license plate number, which I already posted. That's why I got on here in the first place...to try to get some info on the truck. The truck took off. It's hard to give info when we don't have much to go on. It was a white tractor trailer heading towards the interstate. He probably didn't know where he was going and decided to go in front of her....while she was sitting perfectly still at a redlight in the turning lane...to get on the interstate, but he was in the wrong lane. Instead of being in the turning lane...he was in the straight lane and decided to make it into a turning lane himself and cut over in front of her quick as to not miss his exit. That's my assumption of the whole thing. In the meantime, he hit her car and kept going. Another one of my assumptions is he kept going cuz he didn't want this on his record. He probably already had a record of some sort. Plus, he saw a young blonde girl and decided he could just get away with taking off, which he did. Those are my assumptions..but one thing that's a fact is HE WAS AT FAULT HERE!!

I didn't disappear. I'm just not on this site 24/7. I'm not even on the computer everyday. I have other things going on in my life other than to get on here and argue with everybody...one thing being fixing this car. A truck WAS involved and he DID hit her and he DID KEEP GOING. I'm in the process of fixing the car right now, but I did take pictures beforehand to post on here when I get the chance. When I have time to figure out how to post pictures on here, I will put them on. Can I send them directly from my cell phone? If not, they're going to have to wait til I get back to Florida next weekend.

OK, so this trucker made an illegal turn from the wrong lane and ran a red light. He hits your daughter's car, which no one witnessed, and your daughter fails to call the police to report a hit and run. The description of the truck is that it is white. You are fixing the car yourself...

And you really don't understand how people may find this fishy?

By the way, is the license plate number from the truck or the trailer?
