Well I had to push my orientation back from Nov. 8th to the 29th. My recruiter and I were going to go with the 8th but didnt know if there would be a spot for me when I finished school but it worked out better anyways with Thanksgiving coming and my grandma being sick it will give me at least one more holiday with her. I am going to pull skateboards for awhile and see how it goes, (hopefully they keep me moving as I can not stand to sit in the same place really long, lol). Thanks to all you guys and gals on here that helped answer my questions and a special thanks to rangerroehlroadtrainer for putting up with me as my recruiter, it was extremely nice to get a chance to talk to someone off the forum, I will try to keep posting as I make the big jump into becoming a truck driver for Roehl. Also, thanks to majestik, hindsy, and wiseguy for posting all your experiences on here, it definetely paints a good picture of what life is like on the road for us new guys that are just getting into it hopefully I can keep up with my experiences as well.
Headed to Gary, IN on Nov. 28th

Good luck with orientation. I'm sure you'll do fine. I myself am REALLY close to headed to Marshfield. Two more days here at home and I'm leaving early Sunday morning. Looking forward to my 12 hour drive with lots of time to think about the next three weeks. Looking forward to getting out on the road and hopefully running into alot of you guys out there.

You will do fine in Marshfield, and try not to smile the hole way there, lol

I am heading out sometime Saturday for my 19 hour journey.

Yeah, happy birthday to me. Hopefully I can find a good place to stop about halfway through.

Well, happy early birthday!! Not sure where your half way would be. Who knows, we may end up arriving in Marshfield close to the same time.
