COE trucks have some advantages. better for towns, mid range tricking. So seems to me both COE and conventinal trucks operating is the optimal solution, like here we operate both types of trucktors.
-
i kind of like having more metal than a beer can between my feet and oncoming traffic

Many drivers here say that the feel better driving truck with hood, more safely. But average US truck is more dangerouse in jack-knife accident ore rolling over. So IMO combining EU cabine with conventional design like they, Volvo do is a good solution. But EU cabine w/o hood must be more tought and that's why they make cabines of hight quality steel. Mercedes Actorc cabine is about 2300 kg! it is heavy! COE designt is more expencive. That's why for my fleet I gonna start with conventional trucks and use EU truck for towing in towns and trucking to West Europe. In Ukraine and Russia I will operate US trucks

i like your truck nice, looks better then my volvo.

i can only compare north american trucks as i have never been in an eu truck--each truck has its place i am sure--and one is probabely not any better than the other overall--its just what you are used to

Look, I'm not trying to be rude or discourage you from posting here - not at all! I think its great to have people from all over the globe talking trucks.
Problem is, half of what you are posting is pure BS and simply showing no respect for facts nor reality

IMO. This thread is better to end. becouse there are three members here who ever drow Europeran truck. So you cant compare till you drive ore operate european commercial vehicle...
-
Nah, its not that
Its that you still got that simplistic approach where you think you know stuff when you really... don't.
Like I said, not to put you down, you doing great for your age (prolly) and the fact that you writing from 8000 miles away from some poor country where everything is way harder to achieve than it is here.
Just... you might wanna realize that you expertise is not... there ... yet. -
you should probably stop bragging about how much better it is here...your just lying to yourself.
