Do you have a magnet on that truck to attract all of them folks? Sometimes I think there is one on the trailer to attract 4 wheelers, lol

How much does does the pay per hour average to be?
I know it's paid by miles, but if you calculate how much you drive and how much you earn per week, you can calculate your hourly rate equivalent. -
Think about it this way if you are getting paid .28cpm and you drive 55mph you get about 15.40 an hr. Company driver trucks can run 62mph so that would be 17.36 an hr. It just depends on how fast you can go and what your cpm is.
-
Again that will depend on a dozen factors. You could be stuck in traffic for an hour earning a whole $0.28 or you can be moving at 55 MPH earning a whopping $13.75 and back into a traffic jam and earn $0.56 or you can be stuck at a receiver and earn $0.00. As a driver you get paid by the MILE not by the hour..
Not to be rude Lupe, but based on some of your other posts you need to find a job more suited to you. I don't think trucking is it.Rattlebunny, Jarhed1964 and Lady K Thank this. -
I know that, what I'm asking is what does it average out to be with all the traffic jams and such.
-
again I say that it would tough to figure that out. It will depend on where you are and what caused the jam, weather condition, etc.

well back to the side lines colorado has a 15 yr old ticket that has never come up till the day i go to take my permit test, now i get to wait three weeks and pay them 95 bucks oh well
-
if a driver goes out and gets his own truck is it any harder or easier to find work with a big co like central or will they only want their own stuff as a control issue
-
celticwolf: Yeah I suppose there would be variations from week to week.
Could you figure out how much hours you drove from your log and then divide your paycheck for the year and divide it the hours you drove for the whole year? -
figure around 500-600 miles / day so your 60 to 70 hour guess is close.
