A small company in NC Hes been running mail for 30 years near Raleigh
I am in A B truck 6 wheelerEZ Money Thanks this. -
I used to do that kind of slip seating. Tore up cabs, smoke in them, dirty pigs most of them. I've had steering wheels I didnt want to touch and got black hands shiftng. I got so I carried a can of Pledge and windex and would charge up to an hour for cleaning. They never questioned me. I hauled bulk mail when leased to Goodway and picked up in Harrisburg, went to either Birmingham or New Orleans and then Baton Rouge, Lake Charles and ended up in San Antonio. it was fun as they unload 24 hr a day so I could run from 3 PM to 3 AM. DOT stops were a joy, "Driver, What you hauling?" US Mail Sir. Goobye, be safe."

Good deal.
Are you going to run casual (on-call, fill-in), local ("star"), long-haul, or teams? -
Full time,Solo,with benefits.
The farthest run they do out of Charlotte is Philly.
They said most runs are home the same day or a 1 night layover.
A bunch of relay runs meeting other drivers too.
I know they do a bunch of runs up 81 to Northern Va.
That is the home yard and shop.
I will see how it plays out next week.
I'm sure with the Holiday rush about to start it will be hectic the next few weeks.
The guy that manages the Charlotte yard said i may end up on a dedicated run after the Holidays....
Hope it works out as well as it sounds.
70% of the fleet are newer Volvos, The rest are Internationals and Freightliners. All sleeper cabs.
Sounds like it may be a good deal. -
