I would love an a/c vent that was attached to the bottom of the steering column to blow cold air on the nether regions. Just sayin...
As far as cooking goes, I have a small toaster/convection oven/ broiler made by cuisinart that is a god-send. Best investment ever.
I understand that a company is going to spec out their trucks the way they see fit. But they also don't mind if the driver makes some changes to the interior, as long is it can be restored to their specs. So, my thinking is that if the interior was modifiable(cabinets, drawers, etc) by maybe latches or snaps or somethin, then a driver could purchase the mods he needed at a reasonable price and easily install them himself.
If you could improve anything about the interior of your semi truck what would it be?

What about a vent on the back wall, near the top? Even with th a/c runnin all day while you're drivin, when you stand up in the sleeper, it feels you just stuck your head in the oven.

I agree with the better insulation. When another truck passes you in the winter, you get quite a blast of cold air comin through the door seals, around the handle, the power window buttons. My left side is always cold. Also, I put one of those foil emergency blankets under my mattress to help with insulation. Don't think that should be required.

How about making the ends of the bunk rachet up so you get get comfy to watch a Movie or read without either being laid flat or a #### big pile of cusions ? Kinda like a hospital bed ???? Do that at both ends & the middle section of the bunk make that ratchet up like a futon to make a seat ? Dont know about everyone else on here but i like to get out of the drivers seat at the end of the day but getting comfy in the back to do paperwork or watch a movie or use my laptop is a problem ? Mattress makers can make split mattresses that are as good as any other so no problem with the matress ! Easy, cheap & functional idea or am i talkin outa my ### ? lol

Id love to see more 12V receptacles in various areas, possibly even 4 to 7 give or take that are covered and blend in with the dash. Many drivers have multiple devices nowadays, phones, cd players, GPS, CB, headsets to be charged, sattlelite radios. Would be nice to be able to plug them in without unplugging and replugging whatever device you wanted to charge/use. Also a cup holder that is not only reachable, but flexible and adjustable to hold those cups from the truckstops. its usually either a dinky little holder that your cup/bottle wont fit in, or one so big, your nice hot cup of fresh made coffee falls out when you hit the gas or brake. And yes, get rid of the antiquidated TV hole and have a truck specced Flat TV mount for a TV. Doors and drawers would be sweet, as mesh just plain sucks a@#. Possibly get rid of the coil mattress and have an optional thick memory foam one. Possibly have it set so where you TV is, it can be plugged in and the sound can be plugged into the trucks speaker system. The fridge ideas were great too.
