your exactly right, hallelujah,a man w/some intelligence.your right their is no way for us to judge our skills.i just get tired of guys ragging on newbies and guys that train newbies.he has this air of superiority about himself, and he thinks he knows it all.we serve a purpose out here, and because he thinks hes superior he thinks his way of doing things is the way its suppose to be done and is the only way.a good driver passes his skills on thats all im saying and is open minded. and for the record,i dont use quotations and spaces and capitals because its easier not to ,not because i cant.and your right, thats the point im trying to make, its very hard to train these guys,i dont sleep when they are in the seat, they cant read signs, etc. etc. th elist goes on and on.thats why they call me a trainer.

A buddy of mine in PA was an owner/op for 20 years, retired, then starting driving a yard jocky truck, then started doing local and some regional work for JB Hunt. He always thought it was funny to roll into the truckstop and call out on the CB "JB's rolling in, who wants a new fender? Who's gonna spot me?"

He has a great sense of humor, and said it was funny how many guys would hop out of their trucks to help him get into a spot, likely in fear of getting the front of their truck whacked.

thats funny, and he was probably one of the best drivers this profession has.thats my point.doesnt matter who you work for.its how you do your job that makes the professional.i train these guys right.proper following distance, signals, trip planning, proper etiquette for your fellow driver, the list goes on and on.and im very proud of that fact.i just take exception to guys ragging on us because we dont operate in the same system or fashion that a certain person thinks is the model for the transportation industry.granted there are many bad trainers on the road.and yes some of them should have more experience than one year.unfortunately the industry needs drivers, and they have to come from somewhere.thats the service we are providing.i dont know it all, never claimed to,im still learning,as you should be.but im a ### good driver, and i can help teach these guys the right way to do it.thats what i do,i pay it forward.im proud of that.thats why i reacted the way i did. ronin im gonna try your friends shenanigan the next time pulling into a truckstop and see what happens, lol

I got a good laugh out of that guy! Whats really funny is the fact that I have underwear thats probably got more trucking experience than he does and even if I retired them tomorrow their trucking career will probably still be long than his....:biggrin_2559:

how do you guys think that schneider student and trainer would feel if they were to see your posts.do you think that would make them feel good.do you think that was in the best interest of this profession to post that on these threads.to me that just shows me what kind of people you are.if that kind of hurtful post makes you feel good, then your not a driver that deserves any kind of courtesy from anybody.you get all upset because i call you out,and because im right, you get your little supertrucker feelings hurt, you guys are the one professional drivers get a laugh out of.think what ever you want,im man enough to put it out in the open and call you out.are you.
