trans am trucking is horrible all around

    They will run u only enough to pay ur truck payment after that u will sit and wait 3 to 4 days for a load. This is no joke they rip u off anyway they can. Do not work for them ull lose everything u have I already did

    Yes but those POSTS were by people who had already found out the HARD WAY , what do they know and least of all why would guys like this listen.

    Yup, I see your point, everyone thinks it won't happen to them. I hear Transam is OK if you stay a company driver but the long stayovers at the packing plants comes with pulling a reefer.

    Yea but when u get there all they talk about is leasing they jam the stuff in ur head its unbealivable. And transam sets up the appt times with meat plants they can at least put a tighter time frame on it. They treat u like a pos when u call and need something never get u home on time and don't care about their drivers. For instince I'm sittin in tx right now my drop dead date is 5 days from now its bs but this is my last load and they can't even get me back to the yard on time to turn my truck in.. also they tell u anything goes wrong with ur truck in 30days they fix yea they make u pay for it and take 4 months to reimurse u I havnt got a check in 6 weeks because of it. And when they do reimburse u it goes to ur maintaince acct even though they took it out of ur settlments.

    Yes but for MANY that SHINY BLUE TRACTOR is so appealing when they dangle the deal & keys under their nose it is hard to resist.

    Why the crap do people keep Leasing with TransAm, that is all I see on here about how bad they are to lease with. I drove for them as a company driver for almost 2 years. They normally ran the crap out of me and got me home whenever I requested. I made great money with them the majority of the time I was there. Even if they cram leasing down your throat, why take it? they do not hold a gun to your head do they?
