Millis Training Ohio Nov. '10

Sounds good, I'm pretty pumped about the whole thing. Cant wait till Jan. Hope you get the referral bonus when you start getting cpm pay.

looks like millis is in the lead this spring for me joining them, all the swift threads are pointing to very short runs and no empty trailers anywhere, i don't know if there having growning pains or the customers are using there trailers for storage, it was like that at schneider, xmas stuff has been pretty much been ship already

 

Well DFW and I made it. As of now we are the only 2 here. The hotel is nice.We stopped by the terminal to check things out and ended up meeting Bill the instructor. He seems like a great guy! I know I'm even more excited to start tomorrow...

Thanks Wulfman. Today went well. It was a typical first, paperwork. Bill is hilarious! We laughed most of the day. I can't wait till tomorrow.

Hey guys, congrats and welcome, I am on the road w/ my trainer, whoa sometimes it can get a little overwhelming. Bill Smith is Hillarious, I sure miss his catchphrases, "cool beans", "good deal" "don't be bashful don't be shy...." Have you guys heard about chicken Wednesday?

Today we spent the day in class learning about logs and trip planning. We all struggled at first to pick up on the logs, but after a few minutes we were all like pros. We are still working on the trip planning and finding the best route. We did get a fair amount of homework for the evening, but by doing so we are able to start the Millis 500 tomorrow.

Day 3: Clutch to neutral clutch to gear!!! Today was the Millis 500 we started the day with smiles as big as a kid on Christmas, and by the end we were all walking with a limp. We switched between three trucks a KW T600, FL LTD, and a FL Century. We drove in circles around the yard practicing up shifts and down shifts. We each took 2 laps with Bill and were set off on our own for the rest of the day. We were champs by lunch time. Chicken day turned out to be a "Good Deal"! I can't wait till tomorrow.
