    Gotta Pay the Toll. I got to look into this EZ Pass thing even though it means that Big Brother will be watching me. Those EZ Pass guys are zipping by me at about 2 MPH.

    Through the toll, now it's time for merge mania on the GW Bridge

    Under Manhattan we go.

    Getting unloaded, Boy did we ever get wet. I was waiting for the Costco people to call the cops on us. Last time we unloaded in their lot a pallet broke and a bog of grout (Portland cement) spilled all over their parking lot.

    Now its time for the southbound traffic fun.

    I can't wait to do it all again next week. The $$$$ make me love this place.

    Where does that idiot in the white pickup think he's going? Another fun one to get through is the ramp coming from 87 N/B to go S/B on 95.

    Some rough pavement under there.

    Doh!!! Hate when that happens...

    There's some wild looking feats of engineering in New York, like the terraces along the BQE where the right lane going east, and the left coming west, are limited to, I think 12'6'". Cool stuff to look at.

    I was just in Manhattan last week on a bus trip. That was my first time there. I was pretty taken with how easily accessible everything is by foot. Their subway goes everywhere. We may go back up there and check into a hotel for the weekend out on Long Island somewhere. That way we need only drive to the eastern most subway stop and ride into the city on the train. 7 bucks gets you an all day subway pass.

    Funny though, 2 things I didn't see were a grocery store and a gas station.

    When I showed the mechanics in the shop that picture they said the same thing. I think he was trying to get sideswiped or something.



    Boy is there ever. If it's in my cab and not tied down it ends up on the floor in a pile. I even have to remember to push my ashtray shut or else everything that is in there ends up on the floor. I got to invest in that air ride cab kit, my spring ride Hendrickson suspension is killing me.

    I asked a cop about that and he told me ,"If you run over one or you run over a cab driver for pulling under your trailer just go on, well give them a ticket." Thats a normal practice on the GW. BTW how much is the toll there now.
