LMAO very funny guys that' just a small part. Reson #1 I like the fact that I get to take my truck and flatbed home with me. I don't want to be changing units offten. Not every one takes care of the units the same and I don't want someones other problems. I take very good care of my car and have great pride in what I drive and how it looks even with my NY Giants seat cover witch my son hates (Colts lover). Reson #2 if I have my load for monday already with me when I go home then I can make an early jump when it's time to get back on the road. I plan to keep my wheels rolling the early bird gets the worm. lol The last reson is untill I heard how the training is for them I was never going to drive a flatbed truck due to me being scared of not knowing how to tie down, but if there training lives up to my expectations then I know I will be go to go.

Most companies will allow you to take the truck home.
Whatever you do, make sure you look past all the shiney stuff to get to the nuts and bolts of the deal. There are alot of companies that have big shiney trucks but don't pay crap or even give a crap about the drivers.
Remember, its all about the money and you being happy, not how shiney the truck is!sweetangel Thanks this. -
Thanks Les2 and your right I just want to work with little headache and a lot of money but with a reliable truck.

You'll have plenty of headaches, if you let the job get to you (and sometimes even if you don't). You'll have very little money, no matter what you do. You'll have a reliable truck, if you take care of it (usually; just make sure it is right before you take it out, then take care of it).sweetangel Thanks this.

quoted for truth. the big Petes break down like anything else, but mine never left me stranded in 2 years. aside from the shiny, reliable trucks, TMC is a terrible company.
