Driver being mistreated and told he can not take his scheduled time off.

And please don't misunderstand me. I would never personally call and complain to his company. I was wondering who he should speak to or maybe a suggestion who he should contact. I understand about not always getting off for the holidays but I still do not believe it was right to be routing him on the way home, and then turn around and say no, now you can't we need you out longer. He knows to be polite to dispatchers because if you ##### at them they aren't going to do much for you and it'll just get worse.

We were also confused when at the end of it all they were trying to tell him to pick up this new load after the other was cancelled, when he was completely out of drive hours by that time. Like I said he's a good driver and he's dealt with some crap with companies and bit the bullet but I don't think he's ever had people be so direspectful and nasty to him. I'm sure dispatchers have had to deal with a lot of nasty or angry drivers but when you get a nice one on the phone that is just trying to figure out whats going on, what happened to my load, etc...dont chew him out then blow him off.

Anyways, that you for all your suggestions and advice. I very much appreciate it. As his wife I'm just concerned about him especially being out for such a long time. I won't say anything bad about conway, it's just lousy dispatchers. It's just a shame because a lot of people have no idea what you guys have to deal with in order to do your job and not just with dispatchers but crazy people on the road, etc.
