Make sure you bring all your work history information with you because you are going to be filling out an application again. Make sure you account for any time not working as well.

    gesterly1 Thanks this.

Bring bedding and eat before orientation. Breakfast is a danish at about 11 am. It will be like the Army hurry up and wait. When you get a trainer you may end up doing more hours on the truck than what they tell you. I lucked out and got with a trainer the following day after orientation. He had been with the company 13 years and we ran a dedicated route that had me back to Dallas on Friday nights. They will run you like a team. I just got a truck last Friday and they've been running me hard once I got some of the electrical bugs worked out. They even got me home for Thanksgiving. Make it through training and once your on your own it will get better. One last thing have a positive attitude and don't let negative comments from other drivers get to you. This is trucking long hours, load changes and little pay. Have fun and good luck.

Leave out of Aurora too. I'm also trying not to listen to all the negative b.s. going in with an open mind. Drove for several years in the 90's most of these sites are just like the cb there always someone on it that knows everything or so they say, they usually are full of ######.
