    I THOUGHT I saw you! Wasn't sure. I made it to redding, my alt has been going out for a while so im having it replaced here at the T/A. Coming up the pass from ashhland south to the cali border was NASTY so fyi anyone traveling the I-5 north OR south between dunsmuir and ashland, it gets very foggy, snowy and icey, snow was accumulating heavily a few hrs ago. Be careful, take it slow.

    I am having intermittant electrical/starter motor troubles myself, and am back at Brooks on breakdown right now. Ended up stuck at a paper mill last night for an 2 hours before the tow truck could come pull start me.

    Hopefully they diagnose the problem so I can get back on the road and hopefully get a run down south out of this awful weather.

    have them check all your battery cables, i ended up stalling out on I-5 in Stockton,ca on the way down here and it ended up being that one of my cables had a short inside the insulation that you couldn't see. even with a complete electrical systems check the night before after my new alt installation it was overlooked, the roadside assistance guy found it though, he knew his stuff.

    This is a cool photo. I took the liberty of playing around with it in Photoshop, fixing the white balance, and adjusting the shadows and highlights. I think that this would make an excellent Christmas Card if you were to choose to do so.
