The missing Piece to my wife's collection. That pesky Vermont Bell. Does it really exist? You know those ceramic bells they sell in the Truck Stops. Usually about 4" tall with the State's name on it. She's got every state in the Union except Vermont. I've searched ebay and every other search engine I could think of and still haven't found that dang illusive bell. They usually run between $4-$8. If anyone travels Vermont frequently, let me know if you spot one and where. I'll be glad to contact the location and have 'em ship us one. She'd be so happy to complete her collection which means brownie points for me.![]()

How did this one slip past the screeners? Not even the right website let alone category!
Excellent come back though S.S.R.!

Not quite sure why this thread struck a nerve Chompi. Atleast 90% of the bells in her collection were obtained at Truck Stops. Appreciate the link SSR. That one and another one I found on ebay were both second hand. Which is better than nothing since usually I can't find any at all.

Just a joke!

HaHa! The joke is on me! I checked her Curio Cabinet thouroughly and she has a dang Vermont Bell. She has New Hampshire as well. She either snuck one in on me or she's blind. My money is the latter. By the way Chompi, Gator Fan?

I completely forgot about option C. She could have actually told me she got the bell. Just like about a million other things she's alledgedly told me that I somehow never hear or rather quickly forget.
