    my requirements are easy..

    1) truck (at the very least a stand up/walk in sleeper) any brand....any engine, any transmission.....

    2) pay

    3) benefits

    4) when do i start...???

when a person drives a truck, requirements fall by the wayside with what the employer has in mind.

when a person wishes to become an o/o, then ALL the requirements for a truck can be taken care of.....

but then, there is still the part about getting work after that, and NOT ALL companies , brokers or agents are going to give you all you want, 100% of the time.

I guess I was just silly then.......I said "okay I'll drive whatever truck you give me and take whatever freight you want to whereever you send me in exchange for money".

I find I like most customers (okay not frank the asst manager at the Flagstaff Wal-mart. Frank is scum.) and there's something to be said for both heavy and light loads. I didn't care much for the volvo we drove and it was.........WHITE!!! I do require that the freight consists of legal items. I refuse to do time in the big house and become the sweetheart of some big girl named Bertha.

oh never mind.............I'm not being picky enough.

I get what he's saying about prefering the older trucks. I had much better luck with the old stuff reliability wise but its being phased out where I work because of CARB. Even the 2005 379 I'm in will have to get a particulate filter next year or be cut from the fleet. And nobody knows what a VolvoWhite/WhiteGMC is? He ain't talking about a white volvo.

Kinda funny guys smashing him for supposedly not knowing what he's talking about when this clearly went over their heads. Oh well, everyone's a critic.
