As you will notice the recommendations that I made are not false or misleading because you would be working for the company. Many people join a company and hence the stock price will automatically go up because of increased revenue resulting in increased growth. It's not based on hype but actual figures. Pump and Dump schemes are associated with groups that buy a stock and then have a certain time of day when they tell everybody which stock to buy and then the stock jumps and then falls within the hour. rocketstocks.com is one such company. These people just pick a stock out of thin air, they dont work for these companies. And apparently all they have to do is give a warning label on their website. So apparently it's not illegal to do what they do.
Pump And Dump
A scheme attempting to boost the price of a stock through recommendations based on false, misleading, or greatly exaggerated statements. The perpetrators of this scheme, who already have an established position in the company's stock, sell their position after the hype has led to a higher share price. This practice is illegal based on securities law and can lead to heavy fines.
The victims of this scheme will often lose a considerable amount of their investment as the stock often falls back down after the process is complete.
Traditionally, this type of scheme was done through the cold-calling of individuals but with the advent of the internet this illegal practice has become even more prevalent. Pump and dump schemes usually target micro- and small-cap stocks, as they are the easiest to manipulate. Due to the small float of these types of stocks it does not take a lot of new buyers to push a stock higher.
Claims being made about how a stock is set to break out based on the next greatest thing or generate returns of hundreds or thousands of percent, should be met with a considerable amount of caution. It is important to always do your own research in a stock before making an investment. -
pump an dump huh....sounds like sumthin id do in high school only it was a hump an dump....

Recalling a post from over a decade ago. The question is did I create this company into the monster it is now? Look at the stock price when I suggested this and look at what XPO has become today. I mean most of the responses towards me were typical petty super trucker trash, but that's beside the point. The only reason I'm looking back at this is because of what is going on with Game Stop and AMC etc

I've invested almost all my fortune in slow trucks , fast women and good whiskey. The rest I just squandered.
