Thanks for the info. I just talked to my recruiter Stacy, and I will be going to oriantation on July 16th. I will be driving flatbed so I have to do my training with a driver for the two 9 or 10 day periods then I go back to Gary to do load securement training, then I get my own truck.
Thanks for all the usefull info. I'll keep everyone updated. -
Geez... we're booked 3 months in advance? Wow.
-
No Roehl has plenty of openings before that, I just scheduled it for that date because that is a week after I graduate TDDS and get my CDL - A. The recruiter was like we don't normally set everything up this early but we can. I wanted to get everything done in advance that way I won't have to run around and do it all at once and don't have to wait for an oriantation dat I already have one scheduled.
-
yeah, good plan. I waited untill I got my cdl before I talked to them at all, ended up sitting around for a month.
-
Thats exactly wht I dont want to do! Thats why I got it all done now.
-

-
What is the honor program? Is that for ex-military? Welcome to Roehl. My husband is in the national van. He was just made a trainer and is waiting for orientation class so he can start training.
-
I have talked to many drivers from Roehl and recruiters, Never heard of the honor program(curious) what is that.
-
I looked into it and it is for ex-military. There is a website for it. I believe it's roehlhonorprogram.com
