dont worry you'll find a job, these mega carriers that wont accept you are just bending over for insurance companies they dont care about you. do you really wanna work for a company like that? I sure as hell don't. the job i have, i was out sick for 6 days straight, only had 2 sick days, but my paycheck was full. i doubt one of these massive truck companies would ever take care of me like that.
point is, you're gonna have to fill up the gas tank, put on some decent looking clothes (dress the part of course, but clean), get in the car and DRIVE. go on google, or the phone book, make a list of truck companies, make a route so you're not driving around in circles, print up a bunch of resumes and go drop them off, some posters here might say fill out an application and i'm sure that wont hurt, but dropping off a resume is sufficient in my opinion. then wake up and do it again tomorrow. you'll find a local job you just gotta get out and grab it.
Have CDL but cant get job
