New to Central Refrigerated

My CDL course ended the day before thanksgiving. There were others a week behind me and they will finish Friday. Not sure how to answer that question..

I just know my 5 weeks will span Christmas. However, my wife and I will just celebrate our Saviors birth in our own way where ever we are and do the gift exchange thing when I get to come home.

 

Hey Millisjcw, I am planning on going to central's school on January 10th also, where are you gonna train at? I am going to the one in Fontana, Ca.

 

If they accept me, I will be going to salt lake city. I dont stay in Cali so I cant go there.

 

Just got my bus confirmation. I am off to Conley, Ga Sunday.

Bus leaves from Durham, NC and arrives in Atlanta at 9:50 PM. If I were to leave from the closest bus station to me it would arrive at 3AM (Monday). The closest station to me is an hour north of Durham. Yet it arrives 5 hours later..

I am thinking I should get that passenger endorsement after all..

Good luck guys! Central is a pretty good company. Make sure you bring some fairly nice clothes with you. Central does a one on one interview with you during the orientation. I know for sure at Central that dressing nice can make the difference in what truck you will be issued. DO NOT LIE! Central is big on that one! Also stay away from the Gentleman's club next door in Conley! If caught there you are canned! Only office personnel can go there! If any of you have any questions about Central feel free to pm me.
