I take it that is because there is an extended line there?

    Never mind...I don't wanna know....

I will add, Mike, that tarping in lousy weather would be my worst. Especially now that my age and waistline are very nearly the same number!

Mike' and Working Class Patriot Thank this.

LOL, all good and true answers. I'm an energetic guy so for me its staying in the drivers seat for hours on end. All the other stuff is easy. LOL.

If you are going OTR then there is nothing hard about it physically. Hard part is driving all through the nite, sundown to sunup. You are gonna wish there was more physical work cause you probably are gonna gain alot of butt fat. I forgot, chaining up can be a little difficult when the wind is blowing and its -20 degrees.

Depends on what type of work u want to do , I've done tanker ( gas and concrete , fly ash) flat bed ( I hate tarping ) truck load ( jus slept at almost every stop) food service with lancaster foods ( did more warehouse deliveries so I slept on that job too , but sometimes had to hand unload a pallet or two and most of the grocery stores I delivered to had electric jacks ) ltl / p&d driver ( u will do a lil of everything except tarping , oh did I mention I hate tarping ).

    For skateboarders it's tarping......

And for most drivers....carrying your paycheck is certainly not physically demanding these days....:biggrin_2556:

Lots of good replies. I like the chaining up answer, staying awake answer, and totally agree with the john after eating flyin J's botulism buffet answer! Hell you get so outta shape sweeping the trailer is going to break you! Your best bet would be to do 30 min. no matter what of some kind of physical activity. No eating at a restaurant unless you have ran over 3800 miles for the week! Stock up at the Wally World! Good for body and the wallet!
