...and messing up on the range....you just do it again. Mess up in the real world, and you just crushed a Kia.

My instructor that has 4 million miles accident free and 42 years OTR...says he still learns when watching students make mistakes. He sees things he hasnt seen before.

I am sure he has seen everything, and met Jesus on the road too...so if he can learn still....boy do I have a lifetime of learning ahead.

My class watched our lead instructor back up several times in high reverse. 100' straight back and stopped the truck on the money. One day he was setting up to test somebody and he had to pull up because he almost hit a cone.

Yep even the best of them mess up every now and then.

Lesson I learned in Scuba: Stop, Think and Breathe!!

If I said anything different ya'll would have known I was lying!...I sit amazed watching some come into a TS and whip it in those little spaces...One day I hope to be that proficient...

Today I had 2 hit 2 docks, both blind sides!!...One had trucks on both sides, one had a fence on the right side...Both had sufficient room to maneuver so they weren't anything to write home about but experience is experience and I'll take it!

I just get out and look a couple of times, I'm done caring who's watching, I'm not guessing when knowing is only a 53' walk behind me!

My trainer at WS gave me that line, "why guess when knowing the answer is only 53' behind you", I think it's the most profound thing I heard...
