I ra. From SFS a d now I'm running to SFS I guess I will learn I-5 now.. im sitting behind a Best Buy that they decided not to open or something, I hope to get down most the way tomorrow and then slide in on Sunday, I don't think the crack in the windshield is going to put you OOS.. I thi k the shop will tell you to wait till you get close to a shop tnen tgo call them and they will have their glass company come out and fix it. Take Care all TD24

 

Yep... another fine day chasing white lines.... left out of Fernley NV this morning headed up Donners stopping at Truckee to chain up.... 1 1/2 hrs later all chained up and nowhere to Go! No sooner did I get chained and a guy from the road dept. came by and said take yer chains off they are no longer needed.... what? after all of that! I felt like I got robbed... 1/2 hr to take them off @ hrs total and I didnt even get to tear the road up any.... It just aint right.... Well the day is done the load was delivered and now I am at the Madesto terminal for the night, leaving tomorrow for the Lakewood terminal....

 

Drove flying j in billings til Sunday. Pickup in Gret Falls. Drove thru a blizzard in Jellysone, almost jacknifed on a street in Bozeman, but I recovered. Got stuck in snow in Budweiser terminal in Billings. Stuck in snow at Billings terminal backing up. Needed to correct but couldnt pull up the incline in the frozen slush. Stuck in snow at the flying J. Had to take chains and put under the tires to get out each time. Shoulda just chained up for the helluvit all day. Did Donner yesterday a night. Didnt want anybody to see me scream like a girl. But, it wasnt as bad as the 93 to 191 through Yellowstone in a blizzard. Was only an hour late. Took the turnouts and if I saw a car spin out I slowed down. Counted two accidents today and one near miss before my baby jacknife. Long day.

 

BTW, my truck doesnt have a CB. Should I ask for one at a shop. Or should I get my own and call it an expense. I dont even have the antennae.

 

where did you get stuck at budweiser? i was there a few days ago they suck at plowing that little access road. i parked there all night and thats where my trailer brakes decides to freeze.

 

I was in the lot and backed into the dock. There is a slight slope there. The slush and ice made it impossible to move forward once I got in.

 

I'd just buy your own and an antenna and use it for your taxes...
