And you routinely drive less than 10k miles/year. :biggrin_2559:

I don't doubt he pulled a $7+ load. I do doubt it went over 30 miles though.

    SweetSouthernRide and Ken Thank this.

Look... we both know that I don't get that kind of rate on a regular basis - but y'all need to understand that the BS floating around at the truckstops about Prime is just that - BS. If ya haven't pulled for us, then you're just perpetuating the same. That is in fact one of the better loads we pull. And there's more of that...

Honestly, most of the negative posts about Prime are unjustified. Yeah - there are some unhappy drivers here, but I think you can find that at almost every carrier of every size in the nation. For the most part the lease ops here are making a good living. I did well on the company side when I was over there - and we are talking about the reefer division here. I can't say anything about flatbed and tanker - and yeah, notarps did get a raw deal through the flatbed division.

Right now we're at the bottom of the freight cycle, and I certainly don't expect huge settlements this time of year, but I'm certainly not hurting, and I am putting money in the bank. And the bottom line - money in the bank - is what we're all striving for, yes?

As I mentioned to Brickman (his guess was 50 miles) - I'd suggest he shouldn't bet. And neither should you.

As Trukngrl would say ,this thread is way off topic(as usual)

This pay sheet gets old i don't care if you get $10.00 a mile and 500+ miles a day.

BTW i have 20 years in nutrition asa well as cretified ace and several others,i have had three clients(1 trucker) that has lost over 100 pounds.
The trucker was my biggest loser he weighed 514 lbs and 1 year later weighs 354lbs .
His goal is to weigh 250 lbs @6ft 5in tall.

If any on here need any help i start all the simple approach, diet is divided into 6 small meals a day and walking.
,Makeing small difference's is the key ,most try to workout 7 days a week and only eat 1-2 meals a day.
The key is to make your metabolism burn, any of my clients could eat 6 snickers bars a day for 3 days and they wouldn't gain a pound.

Last year i was 240 pounds @5ft 8in tall 12-13% bodyfat and 16 weeks later i weighed 190lbs and was 3.4% bodyfat(very unhealthy) but that was for just one show.
You won't have to go through that punishment(lol)

Pm me anytime i know little changes (wrote down ) and used will make a big diffrence, when that stops we add some other things and one is walking.

These diets are one thing diets cause after 6 months you go back to square 1 and more than likely a few pounds more.

The cost of my services for the TIME BEING FREE (lol)
I will tell you what supplements to use what grocerys and what fast foods that serve lower fat food in case you can't cook.

I also like isometrics for weighted exercise as well as no weights for the abs, obliques etc.
One thing i never could understand is situps, one working out adds muscle tissue to the abs .
So you add 2 pounds of muscle to your stomach region so a 40 in waist is now a 44 (LOL)

It the small things in live that add (or in this case take away) the most.

I'm not gonna get into a pissing contest with you about it...But I don't believe anything you're saying.

Prime has been a sorry company for many years and it's a well known fact that they and other bottom feeders like them are constantly putting heavy downward pressure on freight rates.

As far as "fleece deals" go....It's a fools game!

    SweetSouthernRide Thanks this.

Well, I don't intend to get in a peein' contest with you either. That could get real messy...

You certainly have the standard opinion of my carrier - and I have found that standard opinion to be biased and just plain wrong. Sales goes into our customers and negotiates rate increases whenever possible - and I certainly wouldn't have made a move into leasing without the positive reinforcement of rising rates. My net per-mile-rate has nearly doubled since I came over from the company side - so frankly, when someone calls what I'm doing a "fleece" deal, I just laugh.

Good luck to you sir - you certainly are working at the end of the industry I'm aiming for too... owner operator. I have no illusions that I'm there yet, but this is certainly the kind of experience that will make me as successful as you (apparently) are.

BTW... never had the opportunity of mentioning it, but that IS a nice ride you've got there!
