Any info on General Mills in Great Falls, Rcvd a strange macro talking about lumpers. Why?
-
i get a lot of that, especially broker loads, that say stuff about lumpers and there never are any. there wont be any there.
and where is that bridge? on river or 1 of the side streets? i been going there a lot but i stay on the main roads as much as i can especially with the snow and such. -
I might mention that Exide in Vernon is easy to miss. If you're driving too fast or looking the wrong way, you'll drive right past the entrance, which is just a gap in the fence, and you might not even know you've missed it. One of the local drivers tipped me off the first time I went there, and I'm glad he did.
-
yea im going back there monday yet again... hopefully they are like they were last week, EMPTY.. LOL

BNR, It is on River, have you been to Shelby Dist. Where you have to back in off the st.? It is if you out right towards GM but if you go back up to the main drag and go to 26th and go left you will go right to the silos of GM.
-
ive been to gm and coke which is right by gm, and shelby, but i always stay on the main roads. so basically dont go ever down river? kelby told me where it was once but back then i had never been to great falls so i didnt really pay attention.

If you go here, don't listen to guys on dock, you have to go to the docks that are fenced in, not the ones you see when you first pull, they're on the opposite side of building...Men working on those docks told me to drive around street and use the other entrance, however, it's a geometric impossibility to get turned around in the small fenced in area to hit the dock...I had myself in quite the pickle until the guy working those docks came out and told me to drive around building, turn around and come back by the first docks I saw then drive up the entrance to the fenced area, which will put you butt at the gate which made for an easy turning back thru the gates to the dock!...I spent 20 minutes trying to finagle myself in there only making it worse each time until he came out and told me what I had to do...I was feeling inept until he told me it was impossible the way I was trying it...So, if you go there, turn in main entrance and go around right side of building to the far side and you'll see what I'm talking about...Hope this saves someone some aggravation...

Ralphs DC in Paramount, CA
Easy one to do, First off from the terminal to get there,
Go West down Rosecrans for about 6 miles, when you hit garfield turn left. Go down about a half mile you will see Ralphs, its the 2nd gate you want, the one saying truck entrance. These guys are strict on policy so just follow the rules and they will get ya done. Pretty straight forward. -
i did sam adams in pa yesterday, that is just hands down the worst place i have ever picked up. not because they were slow. im very used to that, but man everrryyyyone there except security was just beyond rude to all the drivers.
the dispatch lady was either ignoring you or barking, and the dude that loaded me got pissed off because a brake locked and i couldnt get out of the docklock and the poor baby wanted to go home. so i had him whining and every cb in earshot was blasting with the disptach lady WATKINS GET OUT OF DOOR 14 over and over as im trying to fix the #### trailer. then when i got it going i still couldnt get out because their numbnut yard guy put and empty trailer like 20 feet in front of us and there were trucks on both sides. from when i called to double check directions to when i left i got nothing but attitude.
/rant. just heads up if anyone ever goes there. it was a rebound load for some furniture stuff.
its at 78 exit 49a. on the right easy to find but google didnt show it which is why i got confused and called to verify.
i liked this thread, bring it back. ive turned into a navigation robot but i like the little tips you can learn from others.
