See everyone answered most questions but didn't see this one
A satellite pump is a dummy pump usually has a on off valve it gets it's fuel feed from the main (I.E.) normal pump. just before the output hose on main pump then goes underground to dummy (satellite) pump.
being truck drivers most trucks have tanks on both sides and that is the solution to dragging a hose around the truck or over the frame that is the simple answer no trucker gets fuel at a Truckstop without satellite pumps if he can help it marks from hoses & grease get on your pants & shirt and then get all over inside of truck.pappalion Thanks this. -

Thanks so much for answering that. I thought that might be the case. So as I see it this is something I have to have to make it easier for the trucker. I am trying my best to design this truck stop in such as way as to make it very easy for truck drivers to use without breaking the bank to do it.
Someone along the way suggested free A. T. M. s but I can't see any way to do that. At best the lowest fee I can get (because we have to pay a fee) is $1.50 per transaction. Even if we own the machine we have to pay a service fee and processing fee so that won't work.
We have had some great suggestions and each one is incorporated into the overall plan. We won't be the biggest but our goal is to be the best.
Thanks again

#### I just missed it, I'd like to add:
1.) Bathrooms on 'both' sides of the truck lot. The main building and at the far end. So we have equal distance to run.
2.) Bit of an oddity but although I appreciate all the lights for "security" I wish there was a 'hood' I could drive my tractor into so that the light wouldn't come in my windows at night. I know this means head first parking but I really hate the crappy curtains in some of my trucks. Also this would help us night drivers who sleep all day too.
3.) As much as I'd like to get away from "fast food", and I do like my sit-down resturaunts, I'd also like a low-cost, but still portable option. There's a couple of chains in PA (Sheetz & Wawa) that are doing amazing things with available meals. -
A diesel Satilite pump, is the pump on the other side of truck from whichever side the main pump is. It is for the purpose of fueling both tanks at the same time using 1 pump.
For restruants, we want a real one, and a deli at the fuel desk building. We want good, healthy food at a reasonable price, we want a pitcher not just a glass of our cold drinks at our table. You want the whole thing, I've thought this out in detail and been driving for 13 years, email me at skb176@live.com if you want my plans
