Same thing as Mass and Dave. Maybe I should have applied in person although some places seem to discourage that. They don't want to be fielding all the applicants hunting for jobs.

I was interested in Pepsi out of Coldwater, MI

Oh well I'm in another driving job for now.

I tried doing the in person thing with Pepsi. The guard at the gate turned me away and stated all apps had to be done online...:biggrin_25513:

i have a phone interview with pepsi tomorrow morning. the position is for a relief driver though. Ill know more details tomorrow obviously but just the word relief scares me a little since it doesnt sound like a full time job however, when I did all the information and paperwork for the position it said it was 40 hours so Im a little confused. Is there always the need for a relief driver everyday, is there always guys calling out or on vacation? guess ill know tomorrow i hope

A relief driver fills in for vacations and sick drivers,...

However if you offer to also load trucks or be a drivers helper when they don't need the relief driver they will more than likely keep you working in some capacity,....

With many companies a relief driver will turn into a full time position..
If they hire you hang with it. Good luck!

Ya that's what I was thinking walleye. Well interview tomorrow morning, hope it all goes well.hey zaptear, did you have to do multiple face to face interviews or just one. Back about 10 years ago I had to go thru 3 interviews before getting hired at best buy. Never really had to many interviews. I always walked in and got the job or thru word of mouth. Didn't know how yours went though when you got hired
