I bought 2 realy nice square tube ratchet type load locks $39.00 each,,, they are able to be reach floor to ceiling for horizontal applications and will telescope down to about 3 ft long,,, problem is they have both striped out on the ratchet part and now usually fall down during transit!
Anyone have simular problems with these?![]()

load locks do fall apart....

Probably made in China, right?

I bought 4 Anca ratcheting load locks back in June of this year. So far the only issue I have had is that the bolt going through the handle/ratchet assembly was to short and didn't engage the plastic in the nyloc nut. I just put longer bolts in them all and they have worked great. Matter of fact they get put up and taken down daily (sometimes multiple times a day) with my LTL gig.

Yes to the original poster, although one of mine is just hard to latch and others don't telescope in or out easily. I have seen some discarded that had been stripped.
I saw an owner op with heavy duty square tubes, they were the slickest working load locks I had seen to date, but they don't shorten up any more than the round tube ones would. He said those cost him over $80each. -
No way! Impossible..... It can't be..... Load bars made in China....
Let me have a look at mine.
I have 16 broken load locks that I'm taking apart to make 6 good ones.
I see it now "Made in China"
Oh here is a new one "Made in PRC" hmmm..
Made in Peoples Republic of China... I wonder why this came about?
