TANKER YANKERS ( good tanker companies)

Are there any good hazmat tanker outfits left ?? Most of the info in this thread is really old !!

I thought I was going with Venezia but after talking to operations I wasn't real impressed with how they run their drivers.......the search continues..

I'm limited to the fact I live in upstate NY (for now) nobody decent wants to hire here..

 

How about Pilot or Hess?

 

yeah, thats a possible....Loves just took over at the Pilot down the street I have heard good about them..

was more interested in long haul though..

 

Has anyone mentioned to you that the palm tree behind your truck looks like a giant rag hanging over your truck, or that your truck barfed up a bunch of funny brown stuff?

I like your truck, but that darn tree has always caused me to do a double take on your pic, or did you do that on purpose? If so, never mind....

I have Class A with Tanker but no Hazmat so if I get my Hazmat it will give me the X endorsment correct ? If I didn't have tanker it would just be H hazmat ?

 

They're just like most of us fuel haulers where the trucks run day cabs. You can look on their web page and see they have good benefits. You might just like coming home everyday. My day was so busy the time flew by. I would take 6 loads and stay in the city and 12 hours would come and go. It was also fun to be in the city to get the feel of what's going on all the time. I know Pilot or Flying J doesn't go to stations like we did but going to the truck stop is nice too. Your drop is away from all the idiots and you can get in and out with no problem.

 

If you have X you can haul hazmat in anything tanker, box truck, van or any way the shipper needs it hauled ?
