I agree, most of the produce shippers I went to were morning or afternoon pickups. I also liked the Bud and coors loads, although right on the limit for weight, most were drop and hook, if not, the recievers were usually quick to unload.

So I am still sitting here at Kraft. I have been in the door since just before 12 and I am still sitting here. I have watched 2 movies and am now updating my Garmin. I would have gotten in the door my 2nd time around had the KLLM driver trying to help me had not mad me move my tandems all the way to the back before finishing. I knew I was having trouble cause I pulled too far forward. After about 30min a driver from Paulson stepped in and then after I got in the door he came to the door and said toe me "next time put your tandems all the way forward it will be easier to get it in the door." I felt like an idiot and I appreciated the help from both men but I knew he was right about the tandems but I was stupid to listen to KLLM This place sucks. I have been sitting here since after 830 their time put in a door about 1200 their time and now I am still sitting in the door with a green light and not moving anywhere. I should sleep so I can drive if they ever load me but I just hate this!!!! Oh and I don't get detention because my appointment this morning was for 7am but I couldn't start until 6am. I was 2hrs away from Kraft so I got here about 1.5hrs late. Now don't that just suck!?!?!?!?!

One of those days huh Smurfette!
Hey Celtic you will soon see, one of the downfalls of produce is that they will schedule you to be there at a certain time and when you get there they tell you to precool your trailer while they are still out in the fields picking the product! I think the meat loads are the worst though and this only pertains to solo drivers. The meat shippers will have you scheduled for lets say 5pm. So you show up and check in by 5pm. Well they have a mandatory 10hour break rule. So once you check in at 5pm then they start your 10hour break. You are not allowed to get your trailer until 3am! Isn't that nice of them. Probably won't be long before you get one of those. Ask your trainer about it.

Yup one of those days!!!! I would have had a full 10 already had I not had to go back out and round the building to reset up again. I should have just stayed and tried again after the truck moved out of my way. Oh well such is life I guess.

If you do - and I'm not working - I will spot you come coffee

I hate that place too! Last time I was therein picked up a preloaded trl and had to have the yard dog get my trl because even with the tandems all the way forward I would still hit one of the trls mine was sandwiched between.

Actually, I'm at the flying j in ripon waiting for my f-ed up kraft load in stockton. No appt, no pick number. Fred Meyer wants central to call Monday am for a Mon pm appt.
I predict I'm going to get some critical Walmart product load next to casa grande, az so I can spend Xmas with family. -
I have a question - and it was raised by talking to someone who's son started work for Central, after going through TDA for schooling, just like Klingon and I are. So needless to say the report is hearsay - but I would like to hear other's experiences (even if it wasn't at Fontana - but elsewhere). The main thing he said that concerned me was that the company wanted him to sign a bunch of papers (I expect that) but then would NOT give him copies of what he signed... so I guess my main question is - has this happened to anyone else - were you given copies of the paperwork you had to sign on day 3 of training?
Thanks in advance for all your answers

Yep he says yep they do that. Such is life.

Maybe I can help with the the pick'n. Hahahah. I could use the fresh veggies.
I'll setup one of my BBQ cookers and cook some competitors meat during my mandatory 10 hour break
chompi Thanks this.
