weight question?

    Is there such a thing as a weight allowance if your tractor has a tri-pac?

    Some states wil give you a 450 lb tolerance.

    As stated above some states will give you an allowance for extra weight if your truck has one.

    I think you are dreaming about the extra weight if you have a tripac.States will give a few pounds,but they careless if you have a tripac.

    I've got a comfortmaster, it's a pretty big unit, and really hard to miss. I mounted it on the passenger side to make sure DOT would see it when I cross scales, for those States that give a 400-450 lb allowance.

    #### fine question. I'm not really sure. I don't think gross though, I'm guessing more towards drives.

    Yeah I think it's the drives they give you the break on....if they give it out at all

    yes they give you extra weight, here at W/S since quite a few of our trucks have APU's we have Permits for the extra weight....
