Well I dropped this morning at Walmart DC in Winter Haven. Then dead head 112 miles to Ft. Myers I have a load from bagel bites at 6am due in OH on Sunday its only about 1160 miles from where I'm at but I only get paid 1104 now that is crappy but its gets me out of FL so I'm happy that I'm not going to be stuck down here without a load.

Well, sounds and looks like you're in heaven with this outfit doin' what you're doin. Is that a fair assumption? If so, all you newbies and wannabies talk to Smurfette

Have things changed? We used to be ENCOURAGED to be the "Knights of the Highway". Its even in my Simon Says Newsletter. (Simon Says Newsletter-- Probably SMADRONIA is the only one else who has been with Central long enough to remember those).

It is a fair assumption that I am happier than a pig in #####. I have not enjoyed a job so much in over 2 yrs. (I know not very long but that was the longest 2yrs of my life). Now I will admit that I don't see my family or friends I really cant drink (Not allowed when I'm attached to the truck or under a load) But I am seeing things that I would never have seen sitting in front of a computer with no windows to look out and only a computer and a phone to keep me company.
But then again I am aloner all the same. I never went out much when I was at home. When I did go out it was not for very long unless a friends band was in town. I like having time to myself and being able to sing along to the radio and be a goofball with no one watching me.
I wish I had known about this life style sooner I would have already been in a truck for over 2yrs had I taken the time to think about this as a career. Better late then never!!!
Raincatcher and revslev Thank this. -
Yep, they want to make their $126 for the rider policy.

I posted a pic of the qc on Facebook with my latest load. Just gives me the city and state for 01 and only the state for 99. Shipper and receiver "to be announced later". My typical load... LOL

Not only did 01 get changed twice, but the load is now cancelled by the shipper.Last edited: Dec 22, 2010

The Arrowhead travel center in Pendleton, OR is pretty nice! Nice looking restrooms, lots of parking, and laundry only cost $1 to wash and $1 to dry. Let's see how many times I need to dry. LOL
