Agreed. I would pay even less though. Here ya go, .10 cents per mile split pay for you desperate folks who would settle for anything these days. Something (.05 cpm) IS better than nothing, right?
22¢@mile split teams CRST just say it 11¢@ MILE

It's split miles. And that 22 cents is only for your first month with your lead driver. After that you get a pay increease every month till 6 months then it's 31cpm, per driver split total miles the truck ran.
scottied67 Thanks this. -
I bet they can lower that pay a bit more if they tried.JimDriv3r Thanks this.

Unfortunately this is a continuing trend that's not going away soon. I agree with you, Rollover.

Right on!

Don't give them any ideas.
Bottom feeders take advantage of desperate people, in desperate situations.
Since the economy is bad, they can offer crap wages, and still have people lining up for it.
They offer training and experience, to entice newcomers to the industry.
It is a deal with the Devil.

So after 6mos you make a whopping .155cpm ?
-
No...After 6 months it's 31 cents a mile.
You are getting $.31 a mile for the miles YOU drive.
Do you expect that you're gonna be paid while you're sleeping? That's not how it works.
The pay still sucks but from what I've seen out here in CRST trucks....You're overpaid at $.22 cpm.

Hey folks I have talked to some CRST drivers also what is not being stated here is that along with the split rate of 22cpm they also will not be paying back their school loan which they also received form CRST. I not defending the wage but it is clearly laid out and from what I hear they do run alot of miles. What everyone needs to realize is that in this industry you have to start at the bottom. Thats life like it or not. Get your experience and than move on.
