Geeze 1Bad, you try to meet everyone that comes thru your area??? lol

Smurfette, when you get to OKC, wave to the north and tell my brother and his family hello. You'll be within 12 miles of them if you park at the trk stops on the west side. Kind of wish I could be there to celebrate with them!!!

You don't need to contact dispatch to get reefer fuel, you can get it anywhere that takes comdata or tch at flying hook. The reefer is more important than you are.

Sound to me like the proposed new 34hr restart may put a kink in the driving industry. I hope most of the trucking companies oppose this new rule. It is entirely unfair to the drivers who drive mainly at night as it would require a great deal more hours to acheive the restart than it would for a driver who runs mostly during the day. And the new rule that says you cannot drive more than 7 hrs without taking a 30min break off duty or in the sleeper is crazy, I used to get up, run my 11 stopping only for bathroom breaks and then get to a place to park for the night. that rule might be hard to do, some of the highways we run on do not have places to stop for hours on end, we are not driving cars and are restricted from parking in a lot of places. the ability to stop is not always going to be there unless they want us to stop on an offramp or something.
