New here but had to jump in... sorry...

I've been out on these silly roads since 1975 and i can honestly tell you that if you drove the truck/trailer combo WITHOUT brakes then you are the problem and not part of the solution!! Sorry but the company gets the call here. Besides, didn't anyone ever teach you how to take a wrench to them?? Just wondering that's all... Better then sliding into anything if you ask me!!

well yea thats a possiblity but in anyway if he didn't do what he was supposed to do then yes i would charge too. Ultimately it's the drivers responsiblity when operating a motor vehicle>

Have friend that works for them,no complaint xcept 4 the high insurance premiums. He declined coverage, couldnt afford it (sign of the timz).Making good $$$. As for running out of fuel, happened to me once in 17 yrs. Told my dispatcher I didnt have enuff fuel to make it to next authorized fuel stop. He said I did. I said "OK. You're management,so you know best." Ran out 5 miles b4 my pickup point that day.Missed my pickup.Spent 6 hrs waiting 4 svc call and tech to get truck re-started. So,the company deserved the expense of the svc call and the svc failure on the load. When they insist on being stupid, make them pay I say.

Yep, when u tell them you need fuel and the idiots look at a stupid computer and tell u that u don't need any fuel then they get what they pay for. You the driver are looking At the fuel gauge and know exactly if u need fuel. If they don't want to listen, then they can pay the price.
