By parking with the trans in 3rd (my kw had a eaton 9 speed top 2) the stick was moved an extra 3 inches to the right and forward so I could swing my legs around and not slam my knee into the stick as I moved to the sleeper. I'm 6'2" and really liked that kw except for the fact that I was always in a crouched position when I had to move about the cab.:biggrin_25510:

I'm 6'2" and weigh in at about 280 and I never have any problem moving around in my W9. I leave it in neutral always when I'm parked and heve never had a clearance issue with the shift lever.

I'm not too put out by the need to crouch when I turn to step into the bunk because the need to be crouched lasts about 2 seconds until I step doen into the sleeper and then there's more than enough room.

an extra 3" might impress a lady Friend or two but I doubt very seriously they would comment on having issues stepping around such a measurement :biggrin_25523:

I gotta ask why would you guys just turn the key without knowing/checking if it's in gear or not? And happy new year to all.

Stop truck, place truck in neutral, set parking brake, remove foot from brake pedal, move to sleeper berth area, go to sleep. But maybe that's just me.
