    Excited about starting a new career and it appears Millis is going to be a really decent company to start with. I start trainine on 01/31/2011 in Richfield and am looking to see who else is going. Hoping to find someone from that area that may be able to assist with transportation from the airport to the hotel.

    I trained a few years back in Cartersville during July. I thought the heat was bad, but you got Richfield in February. Wow.

    Take some good gear and have fun with it.

    No joke Vbob, what the heck was I thinking, Wisonsin in February (and they tell you to pack light!). Being from Texas, I will be bundling up!

    Bumpy, I couldn't begin to tell you how much research and sole searching I did before making a decision to put in an app with Millis. I feel extremely fortunate that I was chosen to go to their school because for what ever reason, I have read about several that were rejected. I am excited and know I have made a good decision and there will not be any reason to look back and wonder "what if". It has been the drivers in these forums that provided all the information to make a decision.

    Hi Whitely. No I had to leave a while back for personal reasons. It looks like I will be in orientation next week with Crete or Celadon.

    Is that you that parks the t2000 on Raymond Hill Rd sometimes? Maybe we'll meet some time.

    vbob...No i sometimes park the truck and trailer next to the waffle house out on Hwy 29 and Hwy 16 down by the truckstops..I usually only do that if im going to be home for afew hours or overnight...Sometimes i will drop the trailer there and bobtail home if i dont feel like dragging it to the house and such...I live out on Tope Rd out off Hwy 16 and Hwy 54....Yea if your ever out in my area and see the truck..feel free to stop by and chat.
