I don't think it should cost anything to get a copy of your own report. It is about the money, like everything else that has to do with the government these days. It isn't really about safety, only money.

Because it is revenue. The same reason you see more cops out on the highway instead of neighborhoods where crime is really happening. REVENUE..!!!

Woody and GMan... I dont have to tell you because im sure you both already know but you are exactly right... The DOT/FMCSA or whatever they want to call themselves only want that money and could care less about who they take it from.

I tried that site but it wounldnt come up. I even tried the site without the extension on the end of it and could not find anything related to my obtaining a copy of my report/score. I did however find some stuff in relation to the change in HOS rules they are putting into place.

The companies that are safety oriented will simply expand their fleets and you won't see any dramatic hikes in wages. You will also see trucks pulling Rocky Mountain Doubles and triple, super "B''s and other multi wheel trailers.

One truck pulling doubles means you only need half of what's on the road now.

    Just some food for thought.

I started at a time when the maximum for 5 axles was 65,000 lbs. Now you can run Super "B"'s at 139,700 lbs.

I dont know how much Ive heard is true, but this not only will effect bad drivers, but has anyone else heard the stuff about, drivers with a higher body mass are going to be subject to sleep tests due to sleep apnea. I know someone who is overweight and before she could get hired at one company they wanted her to go for a sleep test. I know thin people with sleep apnea. Theyre singling out heavy people. Ive also heard of other health issues that will no longer be accepted on DOT physical. There are alot of heavy drivers and drivers with certain health issues that dont have a problem driving their truck. Someone please confirm some of my concerns.
