    Ok, The basics,
Enough clothes to get you through 7 to 10 days. You may or may not get to do laundry in that period...depends on if your trainer does laundry.
Rule # 1, you are on your trainers schedule...not yours. When he stops, you stop. When he says it's time to eat, make sure you eat. Don't be a pain the arse. You will take some crap but it will pass. Your time starts when you get into your truck.
Rain gear if you think you need it. Gloves for sure...leather are best. You will wish you had them if you forget them.
Toiletries in a bag...you will be in and out of rest stops, truck stops etc. You have to carry in what you need. Truckstop showers will give you a towel to shower...I carry one anyway in case I want to take a #####'s bath at a rest stop. Take a bar of soap. Don't be one of those guy's that doesn't keep up his appearance. You will see what I'm talking about...trust me. It only takes a few minutes to shave, brush your teeth etc. Do it!Crude, I know but so is trucking.
If you like music, take your portable whatever. The trainer might be into Ozzy and you like bluegrass.
Take a sleeping bag for training. When you get your own truck you can go with the satin sheets and the Nascar comforter.
Remember, only what you need. But if you need it don't forget it...truckstops are expensive and your trainer does not want to stop so you can get your saline solution!
It's not like driving your Toyota or whatever you drive...these rigs are big and we don't like to parallel park.
Make a list and check it twice. You are gonna love it...I can tell!
You will have little room for storing your stuff so think ahead and leave the fluff behind.

BTW, ol'monkeyman there is a longtime and respected member of TTR so only us that knowed him a long time can call him an azzhat :biggrin_255:
true, some threads tend to drift on and off topic ya just have to wade through the bull if you care not to partake in that portion of the reading. (I myself enjoy the sometimes comical pauses in the seriousness. but to each his own)

Just because I argue on a forum, that means I am a horrible employee?
