Apparently frozen ice cream, when viewed through an xray looks a lot like cocaine, so if DOT wants to open your truck and unload your trailer of ice cream (during the summer, mind you) looking for cocaine, by golly let them!
I hope they gave some to their dogs. I mean they did end up having to pay for the ruined load....
If you ever haul ice cream out of Laredo...

Probably why DOT searched it. Jalepeno flavored ice cream?

I've hauled plenty but it's usually out of or going to IL.
I bet DOT had fun in that -10 degree trailer. -
In the summer heat in Texas, I bet they loved it. It may have been the reason they wanted to unload it. Or they may have just wanted to cool off with some ice cream. Either way, no sweat, our tax dollars paid for it.

It is not. Happened to an SRT driver and confirmed by several people here with their replies.
DoT, Border Patrol, US Marshalls..eh, it was one of those 3 who did it. I got the important part of the story correct.
