Make sure your doc filled in all the blanks - Klingon's doc forgot to put in the field of vision part - DMV caught it and we had to go back in - LOL! I'll cut her a break though - she doesn't do many DOT physicals :biggrin_25523:

I think dispatch is trying to kill me! :biggrin_2559: my next load after my con-way shuttle has a final destination of Carson, ca which happens to be right next door to compton, the ghetto armpit of LA. Isn't that where that truck driver got killed during the Rodney King riots?

Central has to have 6 trucks that all loaded here, all going to WM in North Platte, and all are not excited about going through Montana. One poor sap was worried about whether we would go through Laramie or not. I told him Laramie was the least of our worries. Driving isn't even a focus of mine, after my ONLY key broke off inside the ignition... Now to find a locksmith...

Good thing about WA is that where the apples are there usually isn't much snow. You will make up for it going across 90 though. Good luck!

That hill east of laramie headed east is nothing compared Montana. Be careful with the ice. Maybe run together if you have appts around the same time. At least if something happens you won't be alone.

As soon as I can get a key made for this W900, I will be en route, hopefully alongside at least one of our other trucks.

Let the more experienced with winter mtn driving lead and decide when to chain. I was lucky and got my winter mtn driving done with my trainer.:biggrin_255:

OMG! I remember watching that on TV and crying, and cringing for every blow he took with the brick! He ,thankfully, did survive that horrible attack! Be safe,I'm still stalking!

I have already made the decision that I am not going to chain. If it gets to that point, I will call dispatch and either tell them that the truck will sit until chains are lifted, or I will drive down to 80 through Idaho and Utah. Their choice, but I am not going to chain. I don't see 80 through Wyoming being any better this time of the year, maybe less mountains, but that would be about it. I have done enough chaining this year. (2011-once)
