From talking to my recruiter, she says 2 wks cdl class,3 days orientation, 5 wks on truck with trainer. Back to yard to upgrade test, issued a truck and then sent home. Roughly 9 weeks total before your home for a few days.

So far everyone I have talked to here... (except for Carlos) is a transplate from UT.... But that is the training and recruit.
I asked about the hardwired inverters, as long as it is installed at an approved shop there is no problem with it.

You have been a driver for 21 years. You should know better than to turn a load down. As a company driver any company would have fired you for that. Also as an experienced driver you should know better than to plan on being home on an exact date. That is just part of being an otr driver. I am not insulting you, but come on, where have been trucking the last 20 years?!

That's really great, they got you going so quickly. So what do you think of Central so far?

Sorry dude, have to call you out on some stuff there. What do you think you shouldn't have to pay for load locks? They are one of a truckers' tools. Does a 5 star restaurant give their chefs knives? No, the chefs come with their own knives.
Did you turn in your trip paks? That IS how you get paid. If you turn them in all at once on Thursday you may not get paid until the following week. I have ALWAYS gotten paid for all my loads. How so you know that the repower was the late one you got blamed for? You monthly review doesn't say which one was late. Could have been a Walmart you went to on time and spent 45 min at the gate and by the time you handing your paperwork you were late getting to the receiving window. Walmart counts that as being late even though you were at their gate. I'd there were no empty trailer they would get you a preload or even to a few drop yards and look foray empty yourself? your medical card is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY, NOT CENTRAL'S. When DOT asks for your medical card , what so you say? "I' m sorry officer, can I have Central fax it to you?" You DO know you are supposed keep your medical card with you, right? You seem VERY Disorganized and if I were a dot officer and you didn't have your #### together, I would get you for everything I can. No offense but I think your supertrucker attitude did you in. Central does have its faults but a lot of yours seems to be brought on by yourself. If I were your fleet mgr I wouldn't talk to you either.

    chompi and Rerun8963 Thank this.
