Hey Mark sorry to hear you are leaving........ I just finished orientation with JBS partly due to the information I received from you on this forum. You gave great insight into the way that this company conducts themselves. In addition it seems that we as a company are making strides in a very lucrative direction. I am leaving with my trainer tomorrow and hoping to learn the industry inside out. My experience here in Greeley has been a positive one from day one. Even exceeding my expectations in many aspects. Sorry to see that it didn't work out as I had looked forward to meeting you in person. Good luck to you in your future endeavors.

JBS had the potential to be a Great company due to some major Management changes, they have transformed into another "big"company who cares about nothing but the bottom line. With the exception of the Newest Member of Management Mr Taylor they have hired people who have worked for companies who have failed, or run so far down that they could no longer keep them around. About a month ago they Hired Mr Taylor who will in time if they allow him to make JBS a great company, He has a reputation for turning companies around, had he been the one to call me on the phone today I would not be at the point I am now. Mr Taylor is one person there with Integrity and Is a straight forward person who does what he says is going to do.
My Decision to disembark JBS was based on several things, I refuse to give up 7600 of my money due to bad drivers. Nor will I be talked to by a college drop out like I am the bottom of the bucket, It never ceases to amaze me how someone will talk to you on the phone when you are 1800 miles away.BlackShirts and The Challenger Thank this. -
Black Shirts I am sure you will do Great, My Issues were not common, I am old school and used to things a certain way I had never worked for a "big" company before and will never do it again. I came from a 15 truck fleet, I was known by my name not my truck number. JBS will work for many, and some like myself will choose to move on.
The Challenger, TLeaHeart and BlackShirts Thank this. -
They have real nice trucks, i would had stayed just because of that.

Hey doc. Sorry to hear that u "had" to leave. I am curios though as to why. I may be able to help you, but I need your e-mail address.I promise no goofy forwards or spam. I am and have always been willing to help out a fellow driver if I could. I am not a spy for JBS in any way shape or form. I have heard many things as of late that make me wonder who if anybody is in charge of things around there. If you are interested I have a friend at GTI who is liking it very much since he himself left JBS. Not a 100% no dislikes company,ut he likes his paycheck and the consistent movement and mileage.

That is nearly the dumbest thing I have ever heard! If you are only interested in equipment, Western has much nicer trucks than JBS does.
-
Well maybe i needs to go work for western

you could but you'd make more money with swift
