Lilbit, you probably fold your clothes too, eh?
I thought you just waited 'till the sheets wore out and put a new set on over top since the old ones don't really come off too well.

Well, yes I do fold my clothes . . . most of the time . . .

Isn't that when you eat a whole lot of Toxic Belle and then fall asleep only to miss waking up to the inevitable rumblings and mistake something else for a fart?

Ahhh, tarp folding..... oh the memories.

Fitted tarp "halves": spread em out flat with the "outside surface" on top. Catch the "corners" of the fitted end and pull em back to the rear edge of the tarp. Now you have a square shape. Start folding each side to the center line. Fold left side over the right. Fold from back forward to a manageable size. Adjust fold size to your liking for ease of unfolding for installation. Learn to do this quickly 'cause you gots you a sail in the wind.
I think I've told this story before but here goes again. One nice sunny day I was delivering lumber to a yard in Mass. I spread out my tarp on the yard beside the truck. Not so much as a puff of breeze.... until.... I started to walk towards the front "fitted end" (you don't walk on your tarp folks). A gusty wind popped up and that tarp took off across the yard like a big-### red stingray; right past the office and towards the street. A few of the office girls were outside for a break. They were a bit "shocked" as this big red "thing" fluttered through their midst... coffee cups, etc went flying and I suspect a couple of "potty breaks" were rendered unnecessary. A "helpful" forklift driver ran over it for me, punching several holes (Gee thanks guy). And of course the wind quit.
Anyhow, that's where I learned to fold a tarp Quick like.
rookietrucker Thanks this.
