Obama moves to end Mexican trucking dispute

If I ran in Mexico I'd be a decent enough person to speak their language. I don't run in Mexico. If they want to run in the U.S. let 'em speak english. As for you choosing to refuse to speak Spanish while in Mexico.........our character is determined by our actions. Your choice to make.

I could maybe understand if the truck was older, but his truck was new. I don't think grandfathering would be a factor with a new truck.

How would my husband know since he was not able to communicate with him? And if this driver could speak English and played dumb? Which I don't believe to be the case, I guess there's no law against not being raised with a modicum of manners. I personally find this behavior to be rude and ill-bred, say nothing for how this reflects negatively on the company he drives for. However, in this case, the driver truly didn't understand or speak English, but he was, through hand motions, very polite. LOL

But while they are transporting freight inside the US, they are bound by our regulations nonetheless.

And in my previous post I stated his truck had a US DOT #. Or maybe I'm misunderstanding your point?

We dont give a hoot about Mexican rules in there country. Could care less. But you guys driving in OUR country, will learn how to Speak English and read, when you are pulled over at a scale house, and they wont let you move. You will then become American Educated. You will know how to read your ticket violations and fines, and know why you cant move your truck for 34 hrs. Keep your Mexican rules in Mexico. Learn the CSA 2010.

The never paid taxes, on this, why cant we do that? They say the money is for there grandfather to retire back to Mexico. But I thought they came here for a better life. Now they want to go back home, Something Im missing here. They say here is where they come for a better life, but then go back home to retire. Totally F----d up it you ask me. So in other words, all they say is a #### LIE. Americans are the only ones contributing to taxes, and health insurance, ect. While the mexicans are doing if for cash only deals. Time for them to start paying up. We need to start fighting for this, make them pay!!!!!
