National Weather Service calling for a decent snow dump in the Seattle area this week. It is currently snowing lightly north of Seattle, up to the Bellingham/Vancouver BC area (I-5 corridor), and in the Tacoma/Olympia areas, with slight accumulation. Lows in the 20's this week, so watch for black ice on the highways.
More snow coming later this week--Tuesday through Thursday--with greater accumulation, probably heavy around the North Bend and Snoqualmie Pass area (I-90 corridor), all the way to Spokane, as usual.
Stay safe out there.

This week seems to be bad. Driving I-90 W, had to shut it down around 3 AM in Sundance, WY. Was pushing 2 feet of snow with my bumper and couldnt see it was snowing so hard. Started driving again at 6 AM and it was still bad. Drive safe everyone.

I'm at exit 206 on I-5. Things are good so far..

I was in Seattle a few years ago when it snowed all the way down to Portland, I-5 was a mess, i just parked for a day, did not feel like breaking an axle from all the ruts in the road. Sucks they don't have the plows to clean up the roads in that area. Be safe.

Snoqualmie Pass on I-90 got a few inches accumulation last night and today, currently bare/wet roads with slush and no restrictions. Lows in the 20's tonight with possibility of more flurries tomorrow.
